Making Of: Following the release of the Mary-Anne pilot, we set in search for a new setting for our next episode. We wanted to have a barn dance at some point in the series, so we settled on a farm. However, there weren't many farms open to us filming in the East Bay. This all changed when producer Hannah Levin and Gail Jonas connected through a trip to Yosemite, and soon we found ourselves planning a three-day trip to Healdsburg. Through Gail, we were able to get the location, resources, and actors we needed to make a second episode possible! During this three-day shoot, we filmed at a local private farm and worked with several children and adult extras from Healdsburg who were willing to help us create a dance scene. We, as a student film crew, will always be grateful to the wonderful community of Healdsburg for this memorable experience!
